Contract - Arden

Carolina Placement is looking for an Awesome Recruitment Specialist Fulltime M-F 8am-5pm to join their team.  Located in the beautiful mountains near Asheville, NC located in Arden, NC

Essential Functions

1. Recruiting: Sourcing candidates through on-line avenues as well as through networking activities, such as job fairs and be willing to volunteer on rare occasions when needed at events for recruiting.

2. Interviewing: Scheduling and conducting interviews with viable candidates. Recruitment Specialist will also be responsible for follow up interviews with candidate and clients of.

2. Reference Checking/Background Check and Drug Testing: The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for conducting reference checks, background checks and Drug Testing (both are done through off-site vendors)

3. Offer Negotiation & Orientation: Recruitment Specialist will relay all offers to selected candidates and conduct Orientation at client request.

4. New Hire Paperwork: Recruitment Specialist will submit all paperwork to our corporate office.

5. Administrative duties:Answer incoming telephone calls (2 lines) and directing calls to appropriate personnel.Organizes and maintains file system; files correspondence and other records. Completes Candidate Application and Orientation Packets as needed and performs other duties as assigned by Branch Mgr.

6. Team work: Recruitment Specialist Partners with Branch Manager to discuss new hires, and other information exchange that will provide efficient and excellent customer service to our employees and clients.Must be able to work independently and as a team.

7. Office Conditions: Helps clean small office weekly, be organized and most of all a positive and professional work environment at all times.

2. High level of interpersonal relationship building skills.

3. Must maintain an organized work system enabling others to easily assist/cover when unexpected needs arise.

4. Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

5. Ability to prioritize work load effectively and meet time sensitive deadlines.

6. Elevated understanding on sourcing candidates through on-line venues and other 'out of the box' strategies.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

8. Must have a hands-on, independent and accountable communication style that encourages individual accountability/responsibility, team work and cooperation.

9. Must be able to work across all levels of people in the Industrial, Clerical or Professional Field to successfully assess and make /recommend decisions to our Clients.

10. Must maintain 100% confidentiality at all times.

Required Experience

1. Must have a proven track record in recruitment and has successfully met placement goals and deadlines, while working within the Staffing Industry.

2. Minimum of 6 months of full time focus on full-cycle recruiting and placement to include sourcing, interviewing and offer employment with candidates.

3. Experience in employment staffing industry required.
