Quality Control Technician

Summary: The Quality Control Technician is responsible for laboratory testing and QC checks to support production activities throughout the plant.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Routine and non-routine laboratory testing.
- Maintenance and organization of the laboratory including supplies and documents.
- QC checks throughout the facility for compliance.
- Perform pre-op checklists.
- Conduct environmental monitoring.
- Review and disposition raw materials.
- Conduct ATP swabbing of equipment.
- Enter all QC data and maintain records and logs.
- Perform daily equipment calibration and verification.
- Communicate quality updates to production.
- Communicate directives and provide instruction to production employees.
- Facilitate compliance of foreign material program.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years experience in quality assurance position in manufacturing environment.
Other Skills and relevant considerations:
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Exposure to nut allergens.
Material Handler

Summary:
Prepare product for international and/or domestic shipment to customers, vendors, and other company locations.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm
Essential Duties:
- Pick and pack product for shipment according to customer requirements, transportation methods, and routes of travel.
- Properly label each box and/or pallet to also include identification and labeling of hazardous materials.
- Accurately complete all paperwork (e.g. pick tickets, packing lists, bill of lading, manifests, hazardous materials forms, etc.)
- Emailing all necessary documents to customer service or freight forwarders on international shipments.
- Indicate any stock-out items on the pick tickets and packing lists by established methods.
- Contact warehouse supervisor and production managers with count or product discrepancies regarding work orders.
- Data entry of all purchase orders and received incoming product into the proper system location.
- Load and verify items and counts of raw material and work in process to be sent to vendors and other company locations.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Warehouse and material handling experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to operate a powered industrial truck.
- Must have the ability to operate a calculator and a keyboard.
- Must be able to work overtime and a flexible work schedule.

Bilingual Staffing Supervisor

On-Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting the On-Site Manager supervising the staffing associates at our client facility, monitoring all aspect of policies and procedures in accordance with the standards of our client.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Check-in and assignment of associates
- Issues badges to new associates
- Following up on absences and attendance control
- Provide headcount or other reports at the client’s request
- Daily collection of time sheets, ensuring information is accurate before sending it to the payroll department
- Assisting with accident and incident Investigations including administering First Aid (i.e.: issuing bandages, ice packs when appropriate) completion of the report when needed and interviewing witness
- Deliver superior customer service and develop relationships with supervisors and associates
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn other systems as needed.
- Critical thinking skills and able to work independently.
- Willingness to work after hours and or weekends if necessary.
- Ability to walk the facility floor frequently throughout a shift.

- Operate bag-sealing equipment. Inspect sealed bags and box product for shipment to internal and/or external customers.
- Weigh, document, and discard scrap generated from equipment.
- Notify machine operators to make adjustments to machines to correct variables producing defects or off quality product.
- Follow all quality guidelines in the performing of job function.
- Inspect and identify defects on product.
- Package end product for shipment to internal or external customers.
- Maintain organized paperwork and records.
Qualifications:
- Must be able train on 1st shift or 2nd shift.
- Must complete and pass defect training.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
