Machine Operator

Summary: To perform all functions associated with the safe and proficient operation of any one of the following equipment: Sheeter, Spreader, Lectra, Side Seal/Pinsonic Machines, NG Machines, Vectra, Filling, Slitting, or Cleanroom Wash Machine.
Essential Duties:
- Make adjustments to machines to correct variables producing defects or off quality product.
- Blend alcohol and water to proper percentages and document batch or lot numbers.
- Input data into various operating systems to control variables and to produce consistent material.
- Inspect products being manufactured and identify defects.
- Package end product for boxing and preparing for shipment.
- Maintain equipment in a clean contamination control state.
Qualifications:
- Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, and prior experience operating, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs and adjustments to industrial equipment.
- Must complete and pass defect training.
- Prior manufacturing experience required.
- Must have basic computer skills.
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am

Machine Operator
$15.75
This position is primarily responsible for setting-up, starting-up, and operating equipment so to manufacture products to specified quality parameters. Operating equipment includes: sheeter, wire-cut, topper, guillotine, enrober, cooling tunnel and various conveyors. Responsible for the proper shut down of each piece of equipment by performing the following duties personally or though subordinates.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Follows the GMP rules of facility and other policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Has the ability to understand the operation of assigned production equipment.
- Reports food safety and quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
- Is able to properly perform adjustments to achieve proper quality specifications.
- Conducts quality checks.
- Is able to perform set-up, start up, and shut down procedures.
- Completes computerized and paper documentation.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Has the ability to communicate with co-workers and management properly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation instructions and procedures.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in oral or written form.
Rotating Schedule: 6:00pm – 6:00am

Warehouse Inspector

Summary: To perform all functions associated with safe inspection and packaging of manufactured products.
Essential Duties:
- Visually inspect edges of wipers for seal quality according to product specific work instructions and departmental SOPs.
- Operate bag-sealing equipment. Inspect sealed bags and box product for shipment to internal and/or external customers.
- Weigh, document, and discard scrap generated from equipment.
- Notify machine operators to make adjustments to machines to correct variables producing defects or off quality product.
- Follow all quality guidelines in the performing of job function.
- Inspect and identify defects on product.
- Package end product for shipment to internal or external customers.
- Maintain organized paperwork and records.
Qualifications:
- Prior training experience preferred.
- Must complete and pass defect training.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must have basic computer skills.
